Tutoring Terms and Conditions
1.0 Definitions
1.1 CG: Mr Curtis Gregory
1.2 CG Services: Maths tuition, or any other services with CG.
1.3 Resources: any material or content in whatever format provided by CG.
1.4 Student: a user of CG Services.
2.0 General
2.1 Use of CG Services indicates your agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish to abide by these conditions, you may not and should not use CG Services.

2.3 CG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing revisions on www.cgmaths.co.uk/tutoring/conditions and providing notification via email to all Students, when appropriate. Continued use of CG Services after changes are published and they have been sent an email constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as modified by the published revisions.
3.0 Use of CG Services
3.1 CG Services are provided at an hourly rate as quoted prior to the commencement of CG Services. Students will be provided with at least 3 months’ notice of any increases to the rate.
3.2 Resources are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the original publishers and copyright owners and may only be downloaded, printed, or viewed by the Student.
3.3 CG Services must not be recorded, broadcast, or reproduced without prior written consent from CG and the Student.
4.0 CG Rights and Responsibilities
4.1 CG reserves the right to withdraw CG Services at any time. This may occur in the event of an unforeseen circumstance or technical problem which makes the provision impossible or for any other reason. Students will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a cancelled lesson.
4.2 CG will endeavour to provide all Resources and notes associated with the use of CG Services via email within 24 hours of the end of a lesson, if requested.
4.3 CG will not share Student's contact details and will only store them for the purposes of communication regarding CG Services.
5.0 Student Rights and Responsibilities
5.1 Students reserve the right to withdraw from or cancel CG Services at any time.
5.2 Students are advised to communicate their own learning objectives and provide any resources which they wish to cover should they find CG's methodology or pace inappropriate for their individual needs.
5.3 Students must understand that they cannot purely rely on CG Services for their success in exams or learning.
5.4 Students, or their parent/guardian, should provide an email address and a phone number. They may also be required to create an account with a third-party platform (e.g. Skype or Zoom) to receive CG Services.
5.5 Students should make payment within 6 days after each lesson (unless otherwise specified) to continue receiving CG Services. Students may make payment with cash for in person tuition.
6.0 Child Protection
6.1 CG seeks to provide the best service possible and provide a safe experience in which children can learn.
6.2 Any parent or guardian of a Student under the age of 18 who has a Lesson with CG should not leave the child in the sole care of CG.

6.4 If any Student or their parent/guardian has a concern regarding child protection, they should contact CG immediately.
7.0 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
7.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions in any way limits or excludes CG's liability for negligence causing death or personal injury or for anything which is not permitted by law.
7.2 CG shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused in circumstances where:
- there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed by CG.
- such loss or damage was not reasonably foreseeable by both parties; or
- such loss or damage is caused by the Student, for example by not complying with these terms and conditions.
7.3 In no event will CG be liable for any:
- economic losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings);
- loss of goodwill or reputation;
- special, indirect, or consequential losses.
