Teaching Methods
In our lessons we typically go over past exam papers (going deeper into topics when required). However, if there are any individual topics the students are struggling with or there is a difficult homework assignment, I would be happy to help with that instead.
Students will work at their own pace. I answer any questions they may have, check what they are doing and give advice as they go. My time will be split between up to three students, giving much more support than in the large class sizes at school.

Work Experience:
Tutoring (2016 - Present)
Started in 2016 with Tutorful. Since built up into a full-time career with over 100 satisfied students since starting. Launched CG Maths in 2020. I spend quite a bit of time creating free maths resources for this website.
Electrical Engineering (2015 - 2019)
Designed electrical systems for buildings. Learnt how to apply mathematical thinking to real world applications.

What levels of Maths can you help with?
I specialise in GCSE Maths, but I can also help with Functional Skills Maths, Level 2 Further Maths and IGCSE Maths.
Where will the lessons take place?
In a Halesowen location preferably with free parking, chairs and tables, and maybe a TV or whiteboard. I am currently looking into potential venues.
Can you guarantee a higher grade?
Although it is more effective than studying alone, tutoring cannot guarantee a higher grade. However, it does increase the chances.
When should a student start tuition?
Ongoing tuition starting as soon as possible is the only way of getting the best possible results. Some tutors get fully booked later in the academic year so to secure your chosen tutor it may be best to start as soon in the academic year as possible.
How often should tuition take place?
Typically, students go for weekly tuition. I cannot usually offer any less than this. More than weekly will obviously mean more content covered, will boost the rate of progress, and will increase the chances of getting a better grade.
